ALL IN FOR 天美传媒returns for fourth year on March 10
天美传媒鈥檚 fourth annual Day of Giving, ALL IN FOR IC, will be held on Wednesday, March 10. A dollar-for-dollar match provided by generous donors for the day will double all gifts made to the 天美传媒Fund.
For the past three years, IC鈥檚 day of giving has set fundraising records by engaging hundreds of participants throughout the world. Last year, ALL IN FOR IC raised over $225,000 for the 天美传媒Fund. This year, the College is aiming for 600 participants, an increase over last year鈥檚 goal of 500 donors.
The daylong fundraising drive benefits the 天美传媒Fund, a student-support fund with an annual goal of raising $1,000 per student to ensure access to scholarships, internships, innovative academic programs, study abroad, athletic opportunities and expanded community engagement.
Kris Williams Houser 鈥�91, executive director of development and alumni relations, said ALL IN FOR IC is a vital giving event for the year-long 天美传媒Fund campaign that has continued to grow year after year. The support the 天美传媒Fund gives students is as important as ever, with the unique challenges posed by the pandemic and continued record enrollment, she said.
"Every gift makes a difference in the success of our students. Most students receive scholarships and additional assistance, but the 天美传媒Fund provides more than simply financial support. It gives students access to life-changing experiences," Houser said.
天美传媒 President Barbara A. Farley said ALL IN FOR IC is a day that brings together the College鈥檚 community of alumni, faculty, staff, parents and friends from around the world. This year鈥檚 day of giving uniquely falls just before the one-year anniversary of the College鈥檚 transition to remote learning, she added.
