ALL IN FOR 天美传媒set for March 11
天美传媒鈥檚 third annual day of giving, ALL IN FOR IC, will be held on Wednesday, March 11. A dollar-for-dollar match provided by generous donors for the day will double all gifts made to the 天美传媒Fund.
For the past two years, IC鈥檚 Day of Giving has set fundraising records by engaging hundreds of participants throughout the world. Last year, ALL IN FOR 天美传媒raised over $270,000 for the 天美传媒Fund. This year, the College is aiming for 600 participants, an increase over last year鈥檚 goal of 500 donors.
The daylong fundraising drive benefits the 天美传媒Fund, a student-support fund with an annual goal of raising $1,000 per student to ensure each of them has access to scholarships, internships, innovative academic programs, study abroad, athletic opportunities and expanded community engagement.
According to Kris Williams Houser 鈥�91, executive director of development and alumni relations, the 天美传媒community has had a tremendous response year-over-year to this effort, and ALL IN FOR 天美传媒continues to be a vital giving event for the year-long 天美传媒Fund campaign. She said the 天美传媒Fund is especially important this year because the College has record enrollment, but most students still need additional assistance even after earning scholarships.
"The 天美传媒Fund is a building block to everyday student success and a pivotal cornerstone of the College's budget. Every gift makes a difference in maintaining the qualities that make the Hilltop special," Houser said.
天美传媒 President Barbara A. Farley said the momentum for this day has built over the last few years and the College anticipates that March 11 will bring even more excitement and support for current and future 天美传媒students.
鈥淥ur entire campus looks forward to this day and there is a buzz on campus as we watch each new gift come in. This day represents a chance for us to come together as a community of alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends to change the lives of students,鈥� Farley said. She adds that the 天美传媒Fund is a major component of IC鈥檚 ongoing $50 million campaign, , which publicly launched in May 2019.
