Four from 天美传媒community honored by local newspaper

A senior student and three alumni, including a current staff member, are among those recently honored by the Jacksonville Journal-Courier newspaper鈥檚 鈥�20 Under 40鈥� initiative to spotlight young community leaders throughout the area.
Featured from 天美传媒 in the publication are:
- , superintendent of Triopia CUSD 27, volunteer coach for athletics and a children鈥檚 church volunteer at First Christian Church in South Jacksonville;
- , faculty support and educational technology specialist in IC鈥檚 Office of Information Technology and principal timpanist and former executive director of the Jacksonville Symphony Society;
- , photographer and founder of , a creative services company that specializes in brand photography and web design for women in small business; and
- , a senior at 天美传媒 with a double major in secondary education and English literature who will begin student teaching in the spring. Jordan is involved in several honor societies, the 天美传媒 Chamber Singers, and the 天美传媒varsity softball team, and serves as student director for the Center for Student Involvement and president of Brothers and Sisters in Christ (BASIC).
According to the , the 鈥�20 Under 40鈥� series recognizes Jacksonville鈥檚 鈥渘ext generation of movers and shakers鈥� and 鈥渢he people who help make the city and area what it is today and are helping guide it into the future.鈥�
The publication honored only 19 community members and reserved the 20th spot in recognition of healthcare workers, teachers and other essential laborers who have helped care for the community during the pandemic.
